Our high rise Boots are designed to be broad at the toe box to allow your toes to move freely around. They sit approximately 27cm from the floor to the top edge of the boot. The arch is fitted so your foot is held firmly into the back of the boot. We make our Boots to be as close as possible to barefoot - most people say it feels like you are wearing nothing on your feet. Our Boots have been specially designed to be instantly comfortable as soon as you put them on, but as with all leather they will soften the more you wear them and very soon you will find your footprint embeds into the sole and they become ‘yours’.
We searched far and wide to find a soft, pliable full grain Italian leather so it just becomes like a second skin in no time at all - yet lasts for decades of wear.
Our new range of Boots are made from leather created by the world famous Badalassi Carlo tannery. This soft Carlo Wax is a pure vegetable tanned leather produced on shoulders. The leather is tanned in a wooden drum using oils and animal fats, through dyed and polished with a roll of amber stone. The wax is added during the tannage process to provide a distinct pull-up effect. The tanning tradition for this leather is centuries old.
We double stitch the uppers to the soft leather soles to make them highly durable. The 5mm soles flexible leather innersoles are tanned in England. They are then finished with rubber tyre tread soles which are flexible and grippy to give extra durability, fully resole-able when they wear down.
• Sculpted arch - for arch support without the need for arch supports or orthotics.
• Double outsole stitched for extra durability.
• Broad toe-box with toe-post to allow space for your toes.
• British made wax cotton laces.
• Full leather inner sole - so your unique footprint embeds into the sole.
